Unstoppable Gorg ist ein Tower-Defense-Spiel, bei dem die Erde vor der Invasion durch die außerirdischen Grog bewahrt werden muss. Dazu werden Verteidigungs-Satelliten in den Orbit um Planeten, Monde und Raumstationen geschossen. Anders als in den meisten Tower-Defense-Spielen können die Verteidigungsanlagen später noch bewegt werden indem man ihre Umlaufbahnen ändert. Das optische Herausstellungsmerkmal von Unstoppable Gorg ist der Stil, der sich an Sci-Fi-Filmen der 1940er und 50er orientiert. Die Gorg stammen dementsprechend und im besten B-Movie-Stil vom Planeten X.
